I’m 14 and a hypoglycemic. Yes it does suck, I’d rather do injections than have dangerously low glucose levels. But this makes us who we are. God gave it to us for a reason. It’ll be okay
diabetes does suck, it sucks cock. I have had it since I was 12 (type 1) 24 now. It gets old. I’m on the insulin pump for now, but since I lost my job…(laid off corrections officer) AAfter unemployment runs out I may have to go back to lantus.

diabetes is a downer.
If you think you’re diabetic, you should see a doctor. They can tell you. I didn’t know I was diabetic until the doctor told me.
Hey dave. Ive been diabetic since I was 8 and I am now 19. I take Lantus as well as Humalog whenever I eat. It does suck.

im 23 years old ive been a type one diabetic since i was 7 i use to take nph and regular now i take humalog and lantus im up to 5 shots a day and yes it freakin sucks i have a 2 kids a boy and a girl im also married but still with the love i get and give to them noone really understands that every shot i take is one step closer to death i use to think it was life but i was wrong man type 1 sucks,im always in pain and i get nothin for bein a dieing person just a it gets old look
I’ve had type 1 since february 2007. i take a shot with EVERYTHING i eat, plus lantus at night. i feel your pain dude, but you gotta keep your head up. don’t worry about those little bitches making fun of you. they’ve obviously got their own complex issues. =D
i’m type one and was diagnosed november 26, 2007. i take Lantus and i’m on novolog (NovoPen Junior). i’m not fat but i feel for you anyways! good luck!
32 years ive been a diabetic, ive been stabbin myself since the age of 6,1 year ago i changed insulin to the 5 a day novo rapid pen, if the doctors explained to me how easy the pen was years ago then i would of changed then..much better control.i can inject myself in about 8 secs. wish i done it years ago..

I got diabetes about 6 months ago, and I used lantus and novoog 4 times a day. now I use a pump its sweet. dont worry about people like that. they make fun of me for diabetes. there gay.
Hey dude try not to get too upset about weight and things. Everyone is mean about something. Hit back cos youll never change them.
Dont focus on exercise cos its a bitch if your not in the mood and will make you depressed if you dont do it, then youll end up eating more. Maybe take up golf or something like dog walking?
im type 1 diabetic and i am also over wieght but i live with the simple fact that life exsists and theres nothing that can be done
Hey Dave, I feel your pain man! I also take Lantus and it changed my life 9 years ago. I supplement with Humalog pen shot about 2 times a day. I’ve had diabetes for 32 years now. I have the exact opposite problem you have though, I’m too skinny, always have been. I don’t that kind of pain, that’s got to suck. Keep your head up man!

Hi Dave, I am Peggy and I am a fat Diabetic, it does suck. I am type 2 sometimes I feel that I’m all alone out there! One of my pet peves is, when I go the a party ,or am in a group. Someone will be passing out goodies and they will say to me OH NO your can’t have any, your a diabetic ! just like a am a bad child or something. Do you know what I mean?
diabetes doesn’t go away, it can just be controlled.
denverbuzz: I had my spine fused and walking is difficult. I walk until it hurts but that’s not very helpful. I also can’t afford a bike. I am trying to get my insurance company to pay for a YMCA membership. They did it once before. Swimming is pretty much my best option. I was also considering gastric bypass. My doctor thinks it is worth a try.
I am fat 250lbs(40inch pants) but last year I was fatter 400lbs(68inch waist)despite being fat at 250lbs I feel fine.diabetes gone,hypertension gone,chest pains gone,knee pain gone.The problem for me is hanging skin and excess love handles.
