It seems to me that you are asking these questions because you try immigrating into Switzerland. It’s not to disappoint you, simply in order to tell you the facts (other people might do false promises - I don’t): Switzerland is experiencing a heavy economical downturn just like any other country in the Western hemisphere. If you can’t provide highly specialized skills, if you are not of either Swiss or EU nationality, chances to get a job here are minimal to nil.
To let you have an idea of living costs, I recommend to visit one of these websites: http://www.swissworld.org/en/economy/wages_and_prosperity/cost_of_living/ or http://www.bfs.admin.ch/bfs/portal/en/index.html.
I’m sorry for your daughter being a diabetic. I understand that you are therefore looking for good health care. But consider: If you can’t work here, the health system is not open to you - exept, of course, if you were able to pay for a treatment in cash.
A hair cut for men here costs anything between 40 an 70 Sfr., probably even more in fancy places.
Arts schools are around. Try this link to get a picture: http://www.ffzh.ch/home/links.asp?gruppe=60. Consider that you have to be able to speak German or French to attend.
