This is someone that teaches diabetics how to be good diabetics. They mostly counsel them on diet … when, what to eat and how often.
They explain to the diabetic what kind of diabetes they have and the medications they are on and how to monitor for good blood sugar control and the importance of regular freguent checking of blood sugars (with all meals and often times at bedtime) …
