actually the FDA changed their minds, and you can now get stevia

This is very important: the stevia he is talking about from whole foods is fine, but absolutley DO NOT buy or use the crap called TRUVIA. It is a genetically modified version of stevia mixed with sugar alcohol. Don’t be fooled into using it-its made by coca cola and is garbage. regular stevia has been supressed for years because its an all natural sweetner with no calories. It would destroy the artificial sweetener industry so it was made illegal to sell as a sweetener- dont believe me? GOOGLE

I normally agree with you, but I don’t on this. Stevia is a green plant. Tell me how they make it into a white powder without using some decoloration process that doesn’t use synthetics? Why does it have to be white to begin with? We all know why…because people want it to look like sugar! How are most things made white? Through the use of CHLORINE!

I also agree with the comments about using ARTIFICIAL flavorings in the product. I think this is a bad call on your part.

I still want to give you a hug. You’re awesome.

What about truvia?

Changed to Stevia in June .. loving it!

Truvia is 1% rebiana - formed from chemically treating certain stevia? glycosides with methanol and ethanol - and 99% erythritol, a sugar alcohol derived from corn. And Cargill - the owners of Truvia - has admitted that 30% of their corn is GMO.

If you consume Truvia, you are consuming jet fuel components, and you’re funding the corn lobby/industry.

nice vid. I’ve been trying to track down Stevia here in england.. as I heard its very good for you (extremely high alkaline - wheras all other sugar except maple syrup is very acidic)

@dukenthaylor Japan uses stevia in their coca cola? Thats pretty cool

a monkey LOL

Stevia is a herb retards. One leaf can sweeten a gallon of lemonade with no calories.

Stevia has been shown in studies to improve insulin productivity in rats, and hypertension in humans!

Also, th FDA seems SCARED to classify Stevia as a food additive here in the US. Possibly because the Japanese have successfully, with no adverse effects, added it, and not high fructose corn syrup, to THEIR Coca-Cola product for the last 40 years?

TOFU is artificially made, and IT doesn’t seem to confuse people!

@shockproof83
So glad I seen this. I was deciding between stevia and agave a couple days ago and went with the agave. I might just throw it out now and get from stevia instead.

so does that mean Tevia is not a good food??

are you talking about the stevia?? what it made of??

& Eva X-P

its a monkey.

Steve.

lol best reply ever!

What is stevia made of?

Aspartame = TOTAL GARBAGE!

You can say that again!

Agave is garbage! It IS high fructose agave syrup, no better than korn syrup! It is only low glycemic because it contains very little glucose, but high fructose, even more than the korn kind!!

Hey Sean,

I have been watching a lot of your older videos such as this and I was wondering if you still stand by the use of Stevia?

Thanks so much for providing so much useful information
